ISOTEC PARETE

ISOTEC PARETE The range of thicknesses of the ISOTEC PARETE panel by Brianza Plastica is joined by two new versions, 100 and 120 mm, to offer designers greater flexibility and the best response to their site requirements. Isotec Parete® is a thermal insulation system for vertical walls, the result of a research and development programme in collaboration with the BEST department of the Polytechnical Institute of Milan. Isotec Parete® allows the dry installation of a thermal-insulating and structural jacket to create ventilated facades.

COMPOSITION
The ISOTEC PARETE panel is a building component that brings together a system of functional elements and layers – thermal insulation, waterproofing, ventilation and load-bearing capacity – which all contribute to improving the thermal-hygrometric performance of the vertical closure. It is made up of an insulating central body in self-extinguishing rigid polyurethane foam covered by a waterproofing envelope in embossed aluminium sheeting, which is made load-bearing by a ribbed profile in galvanised steel. The holes on the metal profile ensure the ventilation of the facade and allow any accidental water infiltrations to flow out. The interlocking design of the ISOTEC PARETE panel ensures that it wedges snugly between the panels, eliminating the risk of thermal bridges. The ISOTEC PARETE panel is made load-bearing by a perforated galvanised steel batten which forms the ventilation chamber and the supporting structure of the facade covering. It is also clad in embossed aluminium foil, which makes it waterproof.

ISOTEC PARETE®: HOW TO USE.
ISOTEC PARETE is available in four thicknesses of 60, 80, 100 and 120 mm and can be applied to new buildings, or used to restore and enhance the performances of existing buildings. The panel is fixed to the outer surface of the load-bearing structure by means of anchors or screws passing through the galvanised steel batten, easily adapting to any imperfections in existing walls. The system thus created forms an insulating layer equipped with horizontal support profiles for the finishing elements of the facade and allows applying different types of external cladding, both light and heavy. The creation of a continuous ventilated air chamber between the insulation and cladding minimises overheating of the walls in summer, limits the risk of condensation in winter and protects, thanks to the waterproof aluminium cladding, the wall from accidental infiltrations of rainwater.
ISOTEC PARETE can be applied, for example, in combination with:

• cladding in terracotta tiles with wooden covering
• cladding in plastered concrete slabs
• cladding in fibre-cement sheets

WHY ISOTEC PARETE?
Isotec Parete offers a new system for ventilated facades that uses a single technical solution to create a continuous and homogeneous outer jacket and support structure for the external cladding.  In addition, the load-bearing perforated batten forms a ventilated air chamber between the insulating panel and outer wall covering. These features allow improving the living comfort of buildings in full compliance with the energy-efficiency standards.

ISOTEC PARETE®: ADVANTAGES

• Thermal insulation. Polyurethane foam is one of the best thermal insulators available on the market

• Micro-ventilation. The ventilation induced in the air chamber between the insulation and external cladding improves the natural thermoregulation of the building, both in summer and winter.

• Energy saving. The complete insulation of the building envelope, combined with the facade ventilation, saves on heating costs.

• Easy installation. It improves the traditional installation phases, making them easier, safer and cheaper. Go to the catalogue
