Brianza Plastica presents Xroof XL
Brianza Plastica presents a new version of the Xroof panel for under-tile insulation of roofs, already known and appreciated in the market for its technical characteristics and ease of installation.
The new Xroof XL panel was created with the aim of providing designers with increasingly better energy-efficiency solutions for roofs: the Brianza-based company has been researching these issues for years.
Made of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS), which guarantees high thermal resistance, Xroof XL comes with an integrated steel batten, coated with an aluminium-zinc and silicon (Aluzinc) alloy, and a profile designed to ensure ventilation of the roof equal to more than 200 cm2/ml of eaves. The homogeneous flow of air, from the eaves to the ridge, increases thermo-hygrometric wellbeing during the summer months, favouring the disposal of heat transmitted by the roof covering and increasing the duration of its components. During the winter months, this also allows the disposal of humidity and moisture and prevents the formation of mould and condensation.
The evolution is not limited to the increased ventilation chamber: in fact, the new Xroof XL profile perfectly retains the tiles and offers maximum guarantee of walkability even in the presence of roofs with very steep slopes. The new Xroof XL panel guarantees low thermal conductivity (lD = 0.036 W/mK) and is produced in thicknesses of 80 and 100 mm (thermal transmittance U = 0.45 – 0.36 W/m2K).
The Xroof XL panel is shaped with opposing battens that ensure it wedges snugly between the panels, eliminating the risk of thermal bridges.
Xroof XL is a perfect solution for thermally insulating any type of pitched roof; it is suitable for upgrading old roofs, but also to create new ones. These panels are simple and fast to install because they are easy to handle and process even at a height thanks to their extreme lightness. For an up-to-standard installation, it is necessary to follow some simple installation rules and to strictly use the accessories supplied.
