Brianza Plastica presents BRIPAN X-TILE
A new product joins Brianza Plastica’s range of insulation systems for roofs: BRIPAN X-TILE. This new thermal insulation panel consists of an extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) sheet, an insulation formed by very lightweight closed-cell thermoplastic polymer foam with special horizontal milling that allows installation of roof tiles where the type of roof or specific needs recommend the use of simple, fast and reliable insulation solutions. The sheet is symmetrical and has a batten on four sides to ensure stable positioning and the elimination of thermal bridges. The sheets are available in thicknesses of 40, 50, 60, and 80 mm, and come in sizes of 630/660/690/700 x 2400 mm.
BRIPAN X-TILE panels are installed by gluing (with polystyrene-compatible adhesives) the sheets to the pre-waterproofed slab (with a suitable polystyrene-coupling system), except in particular climatic zones or in applications with very steep pitches. In these cases, the panels are fixed mechanically.
The tiles are laid directly on the sheets, with the stopping tooth inserted in the special grooves, until the layer is completed. To guarantee continuity of the thermal insulation, it is a good idea to use polyurethane foam in the cutting areas where spaces are created. The BRIPAN X-TILE product contributes to meeting the requirements of LEED® credits.
