Brianza Plastica expands its use of FSC® certified paper for catalogue printing

Brianza Plastica continues to uphold the values of sustainability, environmental protection and responsibility by translating them into concrete actions. For years, the company has prioritised the use of FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper for printing its catalogues—a globally recognised certification specifically studied for the forestry sector. Compliance with FSC® standards ensures that raw materials are sourced from responsibly managed forests, while the Chain of Custody enables the company to trace materials and verify that sustainability standards are upheld throughout the supply chain.
For all insulation product catalogues and institutional brochures, the company has chosen paper from the ‘Shiro Echo’ range, produced from 100% post-consumer recycled fibre (FSC® Recycled) using Pure Energy, with low CO2 emissions. The electricity that powers the production of this paper is sourced from renewable energy and is certified as 100% ENEL Energia. Any unavoidable emissions are offset, achieving complete carbon neutrality. Shiro Echo - part of the “Paper from our Echosystem” project - is FSC® certified, recyclable and biodegradable.
The FSC certification—created to combat uncontrolled deforestation and the exploitation of natural resources and local communities—requires strict compliance with specific criteria and parameters throughout the entire life cycle of the paper. These include the sustainable sourcing of raw materials, responsible forest management, the reduction of environmental impact during production, and the ethical treatment of workers.
By exclusively using FSC® certified paper for printing and—particularly for its insulation product line—a highly sustainable paper such as Shiro Echo, made from 100% recycled fibre, completely recyclable, biodegradable and zero-emission, Brianza Plastica demonstrates its strong commitment to environmental protection. This choice confirms the company's dedication to comprehensive sustainability, transforming its core values into concrete and tangible actions aimed at forest preservation. Equally important, it helps raise awareness among stakeholders about the importance of environmental care, communicating an action that benefits everyone. This choice is part of the sustainability path that Brianza Plastica has been pursuing for years, and that is now taking shape in the drafting of its sustainability report.
