elycop
The roofing panel for the Brianza Plastica industry
WHAT IS ELYCOP
Elycop is a precurved metal panel with a standard 3.30 or 6m radius. It is self-supporting and suitable for use in free light up to 3.50m for a 3m radius and on large lights up to 4.70m of free light on the supports and with 5.25m of development for the new 6m Radius. Elycop is designed for prefabricate construction to create opaque ribbon roofs, on wing beams covering the surface in alternation with translucent roofing to create a skylight effect. The technical validity of the product, aside from use on new roofs, allows for an intervention in restoring pre-existing buildings with excellent results in terms of functionality, thermal insulation, statics, impermeability and aesthetics.
The Elycop panel has a high density expanded polyurethane core and is produced in thicknesses of 40-60-80 mm, satisfying the requirements for thermal insulation of the Norms provided with regard to energy saving (Dlgs 311 del 29/12/2006 e subsequent amendments) and the values of transmittance provided for the obtainment of tax relief of 55% related to energy efficiency.
The values of thermal transmittance of the Elycop panels are: for a thickness of 4 cm = 0.42 W/mq K, for a thickness of 6cm = 0.29 W/mw K, for a thickness of 8cm = 0.25 W/mq K. The values of thermal transmittance have been calculated considering the actual thickness of the panel and the contribution in terms of insulation given the polyurethane foam present within. Elycop when used together with ELYPLAST allows for the creation of zenithal skylights in double layer fiberglass (with cavity).
ELYCOP COMPOSITION
Elycop has a webbed curved metal plate extrados and zinc embossed metal sheet in standard grey colour.
The external finishes may be in aluzinc, pre-varnished zinc steel (plate thickness 6/10), natural aluminium, pre-varnished aluminium (plate thickness 7/10).
The profile of the Elycop square corrugated plates is derived from coils of aluzinc or zinc-coated steel which conform with the UNI EN 10327 norms with mechanical and tolerance characteristics laid down by the UNI EN 10143 or rather by coils of aluminium or stainless steel which conform to the UNI 10372, UNI EN 508-2 (aluminium) or UNI EN 508 -3 (stainless steel) norms. The standard coating of the pre-varnished zinc-coated plates is polyester in accordance with the specifics of the EN 10169 1-2 norm.
ELYCOP ADVANTAGES
Elycop is a roofing panel for industry which is safe and reliable. Installation is simple and the structures produced are secure and perfectly insulated and covered. The Elycop panel has been awarded the class 0-2 reaction to fire classification, approved by the Minister for the Interior. It has also successfully passed the fire behaviour assessment, obtaining class A2-B (EN 13823).
Furthermore the Elycop panels, thanks to their insulating properties and the high quality level of the materials employed, favour energy saving and endurance over time of the roofing.
