Brianza Plastica laminates

WHAT IS ELYCOLD
Elycold laminates are characterised by a polymerisation at room temperature which, by avoiding the thermal shock typical of the continuous process, allows for a perfect level of planarity to be reached, a characteristic which is indispensable for the production of panels of a very high quality and an excellent aesthetic effect. Gelcoat resin, minimal shrinkage, low in styrene, but highly resistant to ultraviolet rays, are used in high quantities. Also available in Elycold Lite version, the ultralight laminate is very thick and is obtained by reinforcement of glass fabric based on an ultra-new concept, perfect for trucks and insulating panels of large dimensions.

ELYCOLD MATERIALS AND MODELS
The standard colour is bright white, but it is possible on request to create other RAL code colours. The external part is protected with a gel-coat, anti UV, suitable for contact with foodstuff; internally it is designed for glueing, it may be sandpapered or rough with exposed fibres.
The optimum dimensional stability of the laminates is ensured by the employment of reinforcements of Mat cut into glass fiber of different weights, to which mats may be added (W.R.) of different weights to further improve the mechanical characteristics of the laminate. The combination of different weights of reinforcements allow for a wide range of Elycold laminates to be obtained.

ELYCOLD APPLICATIONS
The Elycold laminates are utilised as thermal insulating panels for controlled temperature truck refrigerators, which require particular protection to ensure safe transport. Elycold is also adapted as a coating for recreational vehicles, campers, caravans and travelling sales vehicles. The Elycold laminates are safe and reliable; it is for this reason that they are used in coating and reclamation of environments with increased hygiene requirements such as industrial refrigerator cells, tanker coatings and insulating containers. Road signs may also be created using Brianza Plastica laminates.

ADVANTAGES OF ELYCOLD
The principal advantages offered by Elycold are its perfect cover of glass fibers belows and its complete impermeability, which consequently protects the insulation within the panel. Elycold possesses a low yellowing index value and a high inalterability value of the surface over time.
